On March 22, 2022, Citadel Servicing Corporation dba Acra Lending announced that a third-party accessed Acra Lending’s network without authorization. This data breach resulted in some of its customers’ personal information being compromised. Acra Lending states in its CCPA Privacy Notice that Acra Lending collects personal information such as names, postal addresses, email addresses, account names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, passport numbers, telephone numbers, bank account numbers, credit/debit card numbers, medical information, and health insurance information.
