On November 24, 2021, Lincare Holdings Inc. announced that its network had suffered a data breach due to unauthorized access to Lincare systems between the dates of September 10, 2021 and September 29, 2021. The data breach exposed various categories of their patients’ personal information—including first and last names, addresses, Lincare account numbers, date of birth, medical information (may include information regarding medical treatments, provider name, dates of service, diagnosis/procedure, and/or account or record numbers), health insurance information, and/or prescription information.
