On August 17, 2021, T-Mobile learned that a hacker accessed the personal data of its customers. The personal data exposed in the data breach includes names, drivers’ licenses, government identification numbers, social security numbers, dates of birth, T-Mobile pre-paid PINs, addresses, and phone numbers. Reports suggest that the breach affected almost 50 million current and former customers.
